The SCORP’EYE was developed in partnership with French USAR teams for their own safety during interventions.

The range finder Scorp’eye responds to movements from 5 mm to 100 mm, measured on potentially hazardous masses such as floors, slabs, columns, walls, beams, trees…It has also proved to be useful in the monitoring of industrial sites after a catastrophe.

On the horizontal and vertical lines of the collimator, there are small dots. These points have a diameter of 1 / 4mil, with a distance of 1mil (1mil corresponds approximately to 1 / 1000rad or 3,44MOA). These markings significantly improve the accuracy of the movement detector on moving objects and to evaluate distances.
