Description
Floating Fire Pump – Power, Autonomy and Remote Control
The floating fire pump is an essential piece of equipment for fire and rescue services. Designed to provide flexibility, mobility, and stability, it allows crews to draw water directly from natural sources such as rivers, lakes, or ponds when traditional water supply systems are unavailable, insufficient, or difficult to access. It is also highly effective during flood operations or interventions in challenging environments.
Powered by a high-performance 13 HP engine from Briggs & Stratton, this pump delivers outstanding performance with a maximum flow rate of 1500 L/min and a maximum pressure of 5.6 bar. At 500 L/min, it maintains a stable pressure of 3.45 bar, ensuring reliable water supply for firefighting operations. Thanks to its ultra-fast self-priming system, the pump becomes operational in less than 2 seconds, even with a minimum water depth of only 4 cm.
It is also capable of pumping dirty water containing suspended particles, making it ideal for use in natural water sources. For enhanced safety and ease of use, the pump features a remote control system with a range of up to 150 meters, allowing operators to start, stop, or activate the choke, as well as switch between slow and fast operating modes. A manual start option is also available in case the battery runs out.Powered by a Milwaukee M18 battery (5 or 8 Ah), the system provides approximately 50 starts per battery, with a charging time of around 100 minutes. Operators are also alerted by a low fuel warning indicator, displayed as a flashing red light.
With 60 minutes of runtime at full load, a 2.8 L fuel tank, a DN65 discharge outlet, and compact dimensions of 750 × 750 × 550 mm, this floating pump combines performance, reliability, and portability, with a total weight of 50 kg.Robust, efficient, and smartly designed, this floating fire pump is the ideal solution for ensuring rapid and reliable water supply during emergency operations.
